Master Steel Ltd manufactures construction material in steel, such as roofing sheets, mild steel plates, open profiles, steel wires, hollow sections, nails, and rebars. We import the raw material from Italy, Spain, Turkey, India, and China. The company employs more than 220 permanent staff. We operate semi-operated machinery. The current market covers the local market, both private and government institutions. We export mainly to DRC through distribution ship that serves a big part of eastern DRC. The exports to DRC are supported by our depot located in Rubavu / Gisenyi. In 2015, The Company commissioned a new steel plant, in Gahanga cell, Kicukiro District, developed on 16 Hectares. The new plant has 5 business units manufacturing over 25 steel products.
